OciusB2 are involved in the digital inclusion sector in partnership with Aimes (a Liverpool based social enterprise company) to design, build and operate a managed service for digital inclusion within Liverpool and Greater Merseyside. This service is called the Community Grid which offers a sustainable solution by providing easy-to-use, low-cost, low-energy home access to the internet and other computing resources. The service is scalable and can reach digitally excluded citizens within their own homes and communities.
OciusB2 provide the complete networking solution based on installing a WiMax infrastructure around local communities and linking theses back to the central Aimes data centre in Liverpool. We also provide the installation services in homes and provide maintenance and support for the network and users.
